Through South of Market District

Its location is very important too. It is located in a colossal white building that its way through the city’s downtown South of Market district. There are some plans for the future of this center. For instance, there will be many stops cross the center such as Caltrain, the Bay Area’s commuter-rail services, and California’s High Speed Rail, which will run between there and Los Angeles.

It Has Urban Design

Its design is very critical issue too. It is known that the center’s urban design has drawn comparisons to New York’s new Oculus transit station. Besides, Its exterior is made from perforated white aluminum that was shaped into wave-like forms.

It Has A Street Level

The transit center has a street-level entrance directly across from the new Salesforce Tower. Thank to its street level, it provides easy access for the company’s employees. The ground level visitors are important, too. Therefore, ground-level visitors enter into the Grand Hall. It is explained that The design is reminiscent of New York’s Oculus transportation hub.

It Has Similar Features With The Oculus

The new center has similar specialities with the Oculus. For example, the Salesforce Transit Center is designed to accommodate a mass influx of people. There are a lot of routes,too. Eleven transit systems, including Greyhound, Amtrak, and San Francisco’s Muni, have bus routes that stop at the station.
